Our vision is to be the European authority on CCS research, development and innovation.
EERA's Joint Programme on CCS provides coherence and strategic leadership to its excellent, but dispersed energy research capabilities. We coordinate both national and European R&I programmes to maximise synergies, facilitate knowledge sharing and deliver economies of scale to accelerate the development of CCS.
EERA CCS is one of EERA's 18 Joint Programmes. A Joint Programme is a permanent structure within EERA. It allows EERA members which work on a specific topic to define a common research agenda, coordinate their activities, build up a sustainable network, and elaborate joint project proposals. It also is a way to speak with a common voice and increase impact. Read more about EERA's Joint Programmes here.
EERA is an association of European public research centres and universities with the mission to catalyse European energy research for a climate-neutral society by 2050. Bringing together more than 250 organisations from 30 countries, EERA is Europe’s largest energy research community. It is a key player in the European Union’s Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan and the Clean Energy Transition.
